Vishwatma (1992) is an action thriller starring Sunny Deol, Naseeruddin Shah, Manish Malhotra, Jaya Prada and Sonam. The film revolves around the life of an ex-police inspector, who wants to start a new life and stay away from the police life. He then meets an ex-criminal (Sonam) who wants to give up the life of a criminal and become a police inspector. The two join hands and help each other in their respective lives. In an attempt to catch one of the criminal's girlfriend, the police gets to know that one of their own had committed a crime.
